Junior Embedded Software Engineer

Beningo Engineering is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop software and firmware for embedded, real-time applications. The primary product involves developing reusable software frameworks that can be used across a number of industries to speed software development.  These frameworks will be used in boot-loader development as well as for applications within the automotive, consumer, energy, medical and space industries. 

The candidate must have a firm grasp of real-time operating systems and architecting embedded software systems involving computationally intensive numerical analysis. The candidate must also have experience in developing software for commercially validated products that operate reliably and remotely. The successful candidate will have experience in C/C++, C#, Windows and .NET development and should be familiar with a wide variety of communications protocols including, but not limited to: USB, SPI, I2C, CAN and TCP/IP. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related area, and two or more years of relevant programming experience is required.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Specify and develop re-usable software architectures and software foundations for high-volume product applications.
  • Develop and test boot-loader software modules.
  • Direct software system testing and validation procedures.
  • Develop application specific software modules for on-going development projects.

Candidate must be willing to travel domestically and internationally (travel percentage TBD%).

Senior Embedded Software Engineer
